Our swimsuits are designed to be supportive and comfortable. If your measurements put you between two different sizes, you should go up or down depending on your fit preferences.

If you like your swimwear to fit snugly and to feel more compressive, pick the smaller size. If you like a more relaxed and comfortable fit with room for body shape fluctuations, go for the larger size.

Models:

Philine wears a Sheila size XS and is an Australian size 6 (US size 2). Her measurements are height 178cm (5’10”), bust 84cm (33”), waist 61cm (24”), hips 89cm (35”).

Care

If you plan to wear your swimwear in chlorine, we recommend the Black Sand colour. Chlorine is damaging to vivid colours, no matter how excellent the colorfastness and fabric quality are — so chlorine will cause the colours to fade. If you’ll be wearing your swimwear in salt or fresh water, any colour choice is great!

Composition

Our luxury recycled nylon is made from waste that is otherwise polluting the earth—including fishing nets, carpets, abandoned textiles, and plastic waste. The regenerated nylon is formed through a process of sorting, cleaning, regeneration and purification. The processing occurs in accordance with the Global Recycling Standard.

tricky fit
I've been eyeing Sheila swimwear for over a year but it was a bit out of my price range so when some of the original colours came on sale, I snapped them up. I'm a size AU 18 so would usually buy a 2XL but according to Sheila's size guide, my measurements put me right in the middle of the XL range. The website says they fit up to AU 24 with 2XL being the biggest size so I felt fairly confident buying an XL. But it's a bit of a stretch to do up and once on, there's a bit of visible spillage. Plus, somehow it sits high or short (even with the straps let out all the way) which elongates my torso, even when worn with the high waisted shorts. It actually feels pretty comfortable and supportive but I will probably only wear it with a rashie because it doesn't look good and I don’t feel confident in it. So no picture here. I'm not shy or averse to being seen in a 2 piece either! I just don't think the bathers are really designed for plus sizes, even though the size range is wider than some.

Nicely cut top with great support ! First bikini top in 2 decades and I wasn’t disappointed , the support gave me confidence to play about with the kids without the worry of a mishap! great quality top
Sheila's swim wear is high quality and I love the out of the ordinary colour combinations. I found this top to be true to size. I'm a 16 and bought the XL which fits well.
