SIZING, FABRIC AND CARE

  1. To find your perfect size, please refer to the size guide, along with any fit notes contained within the product page.

    Our swimsuits are designed to be supportive and comfortable. So if your measurements put you between two different sizes, we would generally suggest sizing down—but you should go up or down depending on your fit preferences.

    If you like your swimwear to fit snugly and to feel more compressive, pick the smaller size. If you like a more relaxed and comfortable fit with room for body shape fluctuations, go for the larger size. 

    In most cases, we’d advise to opt for the smaller size—swimwear looks best when it fits snugly, in our opinion!

  2. Our online store is the only place in the world to buy original Sheila swimwear. We may host pop-up stores in the future—to know when and where you can stay up to date through our email subscription and social media pages! 

  3. So you can swim-wear forever, we recommend washing your Sheila pieces in cold water with similar colours and drying them flat in the shade. If you can, avoid rough surfaces and high levels of chlorine.

  4. Sustainability is important to us! That’s why we have selected a luxuriously thick and supportive recycled nylon made from waste that is otherwise polluting the earth—including fishing nets, carpets, abandoned textiles, and plastic waste. The regenerated nylon is formed through a process of sorting, cleaning, regeneration and purification. The processing occurs in accordance with the Global Recycling Standard, and is certified to STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX.

    • Main: 75% Recycled Nylon, 25% Elastane
    • Lining: 80% Recycled Nylon, 20% Elastane

SHIPPING

  1. We deliver within Australia and the United States.

    We currently use multiple postal and courier services, depending on your location and the service selected at checkout. 

    We do not currently deliver to countries outside Australia and the United States. However, if you’re desperate to get your hands on some Sheila swimwear, reach out to us at hello@sheilathelabel.com or via our Contact Us form, and we’ll see if we can assist.

  2. Delivery - Australia

    Within Australia, we offer free standard shipping on all orders. Express shipping is available for all orders for a flat rate of $20 AUD.

    All orders are despatched from our warehouse in Melbourne, Victoria.

    Delivery - United States

    Within the United States, we offer free standard shipping, via USPS Ground, on all orders. Express shipping, via USPS Priority, is available for all orders for a flat rate of $20 USD.

    All orders are despatched from our warehouse in Palo Alto, California.

  3. Subject to our Terms of Sale, we will endeavour to dispatch your order within 5 business days from receipt of your order. 

    Your order will be shipped to your delivery address by our preferred carrier. 

    While we do not guarantee that your order will be delivered within our preferred carrier’s expected delivery times, orders should take approximately 2-6 business days from dispatch to arrive, depending on your location.

    You will receive an email confirmation from us that your order has been dispatched and we will provide you with a tracking number to track your order. 

  4. Your tracking number will be emailed to you once your order has been dispatched. If you can’t find this email, please email us at hello@sheilathelabel.com or use our Contact Us form with your order number.

RETURNS

  1. We want to support our customers by allowing for change of mind returns on products purchased from us online.

    Please note that for change-of-mind returns, you will be required to return the item/s at your cost.

    If you would like to return your item for any reason other than a change of mind return, please request a return through your online account or contact our Customer Team by email at returns@sheilathelabel.com.

  2. All sales are final. We do not offer exchanges, credits or refunds (inclusive of size changes) under our Returns Policy on sale or discounted items, unless an item is deemed faulty by our team. In the case of a faulty item, please email an image of the item to returns@sheilathelabel.com for review. 

  3. If you would like to return an item for a change of mind return, you must, within 14 days from the date on which the item is confirmed as delivered to you, request a return online.

    • From desktop computer: click the icon that looks like a person at the top right of the website.
    • From mobile: go to the menu > Account.

    Log in, select your order, then choose “request return” and follow the prompts. You don’t need to have created an account to do this — it’ll tie your order to your email address.

    Our Customer Team will review your request and email return instructions.

    Upon our receipt of your returned item, our team will inspect your item to determine whether a refund for the item will be offered to you in accordance with our Returns Policy. 

  4. We offer free shipping on all orders, but we do not cover the cost of return postage and handling fees, and we are unable to refund initial shipping charges for goods returned, other than for faulty items. 

    If you decide to return your order, you will be required to pay for the cost of returning goods.

    We cannot be held liable for the loss of garments being returned. We recommend using a registered post service to return goods, and keeping a record of the tracking details.

  5. Our mailer mags are designed for reuse. Please ensure item/s are shipped back to Sheila using the original packaging.

  6. We do not offer exchanges at this time — we just do returns and a new purchase.

    You can either wait for your return to be processed before purchasing the new products, or you can go ahead and place that order whenever you’re ready.

  7. We work hard to ensure all items sold are of the highest quality. However, if you have a concern with a damaged or faulty item, please email us at returns@sheilathelabel.com so we can review the matter for you quickly.

GENERAL QUESTIONS

  1. You can be notified when an out of stock item is back in stock by signing up to be notified on the product page.

  2. Unfortunately, we cannot make changes to your order once your order has been placed. If you need to make any changes to your shipping address or to cancel your order, please contact us at orders@sheilathelabel.com.

  3. At Sheila, we are committed to the highest ethical standards and legal compliance in all aspects of our business. We only work with suppliers and vendors who we believe in and share our commitment to sustainability, accountability and transparency.

PAYMENTS

  1. Payment can be made by Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Shop Pay, Apple Pay, Google Pay or Meta Pay only.

  2. All prices on the Australian website are shown in AUD (Australian dollars).

    You can switch between the stores via our country and currency selector, as needed.

    NOTE: Sheila has a presence in both Australia and the United States, and while our prices in the Australian store are in AUD, our payments for both countries are centrally processed in the United States.

    As such, if you're purchasing in Australia, some financial institutions may add an international transaction fee. We recommend you confirm with your financial institution whether a fee will apply to your purchase.

  4. Yes, you can use a discount code, but it must be applied at the time of the initial order. Enter your discount code at checkout before completing your order details. The discount will be reflected in the final amount you pay for any items you decide to keep.

  5. When you use the Try Before You Buy service (available only in Australia), you will be asked to provide payment details at checkout. We will then authorize your credit card for the order amount amount to ensure the payment method is valid. This is not a charge, and no funds will be taken from your account at this stage. The authorization simply holds the potential total cost of the order until you decide which items you want to keep.

  6. You will only be charged for the items you choose to keep after finalising your order through the Customer Portal.

  7. Please note this service is currently only available in Australia and for our full-priced items — it is not available for our sale items.
