Sheila sizes by your body, not by the label on your last swimsuit. That's deliberate — measuring against our size guide is the most reliable way to land your best fit.

Our swimsuits are built to be supportive and comfortable. Between two sizes? Size down for a snug, compressive feel. Size up for a relaxed fit with room to move.


Models:

  • Cameron wears a Sheila size M and is an Australian size 12 (US size 8). Her measurements are height 179cm (5’10.5”), bust 91cm (36”), waist 74cm (29”), hips 99cm (39”), cup size B.

  • Rachelle wears a Sheila size XS and is an Australian size 6 (US size 2). Her measurements are height 178cm (5’10”), bust 84cm (33”), waist 61cm (24”), hips 89cm (35”).

Care

Swimming in chlorine? Go for Black Sand. Chlorine fades vivid colours over time — no matter how good the colourfastness or fabric — so darker holds up best in the pool. Salt or fresh water? Any colour's fair game.

Then keep your suit at its best:

  • Wash before use
  • Wash with similar colours
  • Hand wash or gentle machine wash in cold water
  • Dry flat in shade
  • Avoid rough surfaces
  • Avoid high levels of chlorine
  • Do not bleach
  • Do not tumble dry

Composition

Our recycled nylon starts as waste — fishing nets, carpets, abandoned textiles and plastic — that would otherwise pollute the planet. It's sorted, cleaned and regenerated into new fibre under the Global Recycled Standard.

Free standard shipping via USPS Ground on all orders, arriving in 2-6 business days from despatch. Express via USPS Priority is a flat $20 USD (1-3 business days). All orders are dispatched from our warehouse in Menlo Park, California.

    Better support than typical S/M/L tops

    I usually buy bra-sized swim tops because I need a small band and large-ish cup (30F or FF in UK sizes). So I was skeptical this top would work at all. I bought it in a medium to accommodate my bust. Otherwise my measurements put me in a small per your size chart. As expected, the band is really not snug enough. But it does a fairly decent job of providing support despite that, and fully covers my bust. I’m pleasantly surprised. The fabric is nice, matte, and substantial. I wish it were just slightly longer—an inch or so—so there was a bit more coverage in the middle when paired with your Grace swim shorts. And I wish there were cup size options, or at least a regular/fuller cup option so I could get a properly sized band.

    The teal colour is stunning and the fit is perfection

    I bought this in the new teal shade after having the black version for well over a year. Firstly, the fit is so good - just the right support, even for larger-chested ladies (I wear cup size D/DD). I find I can even run comfortably at the beach when wearing these tops and I’ve never had that with swimwear before. I often wear my black top as a bra as it’s so comfy. When I saw the teal version released, I took it as my sign to grow my Sheila collection and it did not disappoint. Quality and fit consistent with the original version, and the shade is just a really sumptuous and deep shade of teal. Absolutely stunning. So glad to have this in my wardrobe! Definitely take the leap if you’re on the fence.
