Sheila sizes by your body, not by the label on your last swimsuit. That's deliberate — measuring against our size guide is the most reliable way to land your best fit.

Our swimsuits are built to be supportive and comfortable. Between two sizes? Size down for a snug, compressive feel. Size up for a relaxed fit with room to move.

  • Jess wears a Sheila size L and is an Australian size 14 (US size 10). Her measurements are height 178cm (5’10”), bust 97cm (38”), waist 76cm (30”), hips 107cm (42”), cup size DD.

Care

Swimming in chlorine? Go for Black Sand. Chlorine fades vivid colours over time — no matter how good the colourfastness or fabric — so darker holds up best in the pool. Salt or fresh water? Any colour's fair game.

Then keep your suit at its best:

  • Wash before use
  • Wash with similar colours
  • Hand wash or gentle machine wash in cold water
  • Dry flat in shade
  • Avoid rough surfaces
  • Avoid high levels of chlorine
  • Do not bleach
  • Do not tumble dry

Composition

Our recycled nylon starts as waste — fishing nets, carpets, abandoned textiles and plastic — that would otherwise pollute the planet. It's sorted, cleaned and regenerated into new fibre under the Global Recycled Standard.

    Need slightly higher waist and slightly longer leg, between these and your long shorts

    I’m 5’3”, 123lbs, and have a torso length close to an average height woman (a little longer than typical for my height). I’m near the high end of the “small” range on your size chart and first tried these in small. Nice, matte, substantial fabric. The fit was comfortably compressive but with a little roll of “fluff” over the waist. The legs were about an inch shorter than I would have liked, but I don’t want something as long as your long “bike” style shorts—those are unflattering on my short legs. The rise on these was not high enough for my taste: they didn’t reach as high as the smallest part of my waist, and paired with the scoop top, there was a lot of distance between the top and the short. I was looking for a rise more like the one shown on your curvier model in the orange suit: a higher rise and less space between the top and shorts. I tried sizing up to a medium. That got rid of the roll, and they still fit well with no bagging (obviously less compressive). But unfortunately the rise was pretty much the same. I really wish you offered a coverage option with about an inch or so higher rise and an inch longer leg, in this design (with its flattering seaming and unbanded waist). Especially if you paired them with a version of the scoop top that was an inch or so longer, it would be a great two piece option for those who want just a little more coverage but not the full on one-piece with bike shorts look.

    Love the mini swim short + scoop bikini top

    I love this set! As someone who has worn either a one-piece or tankini-style for the past many years, this set is so fresh, so cute, has a Sophia-Loren-circa-1960s-beach-party vibe going and is so fun. I got the teal splash and golden hour, vibrant colors both. Sizing feels right on, true to size. Very fresh! Heading to the beach for a winter break and can't wait to wear
